Sad yet wonderful. So full of hurt, so filled with love.
Sadder still about the author.

How grand to see you back Mick. I love your work & do miss it so. Here's hoping all of us who struggle & grieve can give ourselves permission to make 2013 'the year of healing.' In our neck of the woods this first day is very gentle...so there's a good sign. Lovely words from you & from Brenda. I wish you (& Heather) blessed relief & a newfound peace.

G'day Mick,
From East Corrimal (where you spent a brief holiday a while back now).
Great to see you posting a poem and, though sad, it is up to your usual excellent standard.
I am always delighted to see a man writing from the heart. To many males think it is unmanly to show deep emotion. However, I am sure they feel just as we (who are not afraid to voice it) do.
Keep your memories of your own little Angel close to your heart. Whisper to her, the stories you would tell here if she had stayed. Watch for her in the night sky. She could be riding that 'falling star' you see out of the corner of your eye.
My Niece lost a little one at 22 week and asked me to write 'For Sam'. ( Just posted my 49th on the site.) She went on to have another boy at 33 weeks who is a healthy strapping 5 year old and about to start school. Then two years later a (finally) full term boy who is a bruiser.
