Remember matty, but don't forget to dance yourself.

Goodonya Matt.
Einstein could never figure out a theory of everything, where unity and diversity existed at the same time and place. That's because he was looking at the material not the personal. Stephen Hawking couldn't either. He said so.
That's why they're not poets.

there’s a dance you can dance while watching
it’s the dance you embrace in your sleep
where the world is your own entirely
and the melody yours to keep
there’s a time you can time forever
yet a time that will wait for you
where your world is restored sublimely
and the melody old, blooms new
The purpose of my life is to serve as a warning to others.

Not meaning to rain on anyone's parade, but just a reminder that this is still a Bush Poetry Forum - Rhyme-n-Metre please ...

There are six lines of trochaic tetrameter, so Matt's poem is metred.
the lines..
you should dance and...
and just remember.. are repeated, which makes a repeat sound. Rhyme is a repeat sound, so the poem has rhyme .
Voila ! rhyme and metre. No problems Manfred.

Never thought I would use one of my sons favourite sayings Neville.

I didn't know that there was movement at the mountain, for the word was passed on down that decreed " Thou must never use rhyme and metre in a subtle way when thou doest bush poetry "
