There was an aboriginal lady I knew at Bourke who assured me that she was descended ( in part ) from " afghan " camel drivers. I believed her. :)

there's plenty of them Neville. I spent quite a bit of time in Marree, Oodnadatta and of course Alice Springs over the last twenty five years or so, there are plenty of those people all the way along the line.
