Enthralled

I’ve never even met her but her eyes held me enthralled
her dark an flowing tresses fixed my gaze.
We move in different circles, different places, different times
but one can only follow through the maze.

Perhaps the time will come and I may stumble in her way
it’s unlikely but then only time will tell.
For now I’ll simply watch her, dreaming from afar
life moves on and there’s so little time to dwell.
