Here's my take on my own homework challenge - an Aussie flavoured Kyrielle sonnet. The photo is of my rescued pet sheep on the property Girly and Midnight. Girlie was a Merino ewe destined for the kill paddock by her previous owner when he saw she had a black lamb at foot. Her wool under suspicion now as she had a black gene. Needless to say I rescued her and Midnight her baby went on to give us 3 pure white lambs although chances were her 4th lamb would probably have had some black markings which is not desirable (to some people). I am currently knitting up Midnights 18 micron wool which I had spun - and it is a rich chocolate brown colour.

Good on ya Maureen
I don't mind a mottled colour for my hand made jumper
It is an interesting model. I suppose if you wanted to you could make several stanzas each on that pattern.

Thank you Neville and Shelley - I just realized that I had put the wrong one up - not that it matters greatly - this was the fine tuned version that complied with the requirement of the challenge
