A Murder of Crows
Re: A Murder of Crows
Thanks for the comments.
T'was written on a camping/fishing (read 'drinking') trip but informed by a conversation with an old Aboriginal man - 'That Old Man' was how he described the crow and he did indeed deeply implore me to pay attention when 'he' spoke... So many things we do not properly understand.
life.

I like that one, Hully . . . crows have an impeccable memory for human faces apparently. Smart cookies they are.

Re: A Murder of Crows
Really enjoyed this Hully - and a "murder" of crows is one of the most intriguing of the collectives ... like a "parliament" of owls!
I saw something quite rare the other day - a dead crow on our road, hit by a car. They are usually so road-wise, but perhaps it was a young one. We currently have them nesting in bush across the road and the nest has also been hijacked by cuckoos, who let out a sound like a wailing child ... half the night!
Cheers

Re: A Murder of Crows
My resident crows have decided to tap their beaks on my windows each morning because, well, just because they like doing it. I love listening to them talk to each other.

That would do it for me Heather, I'd have the BSA slug gun out. I really enjoyed reading that Hully.
