THE BLOKE FROM WINDA WOPPA

The bloke from Winda Woppa loved his Kangy Angy Kate
decided to go out upon on a proper kind of date.
He shaved his chin of whiskers, spruced up for the grand affair.
California poppy slickened back his wavy hair.


A hanky in his pocket, and he shined his shoes as well.
He even stuck a flower in the hole in his lapel.
Cause this was not no ordinary, B and S style date.
This bloke from Winda Woppa was about to seal his fate.

He chose the best romantic spot to carry out his ploy.
They went to Doylo RSL, just west of Budgewoi.
They had their favourite schnitty, onion gravy, mash and pea,
and then the Winda Woppa bloke got down upon one knee.

Whipping out a diamond ring, his chest all swelled with pride,
he asked his Kangy Angy mate to be his blushing bride.
Well how could she resist him, she just jumped up to her feet
and hugged her Winda Woppa boy, the contract was complete.

I hear they tied the knot and moved up north to Buladelah,
the Winda Woppa bloke and his Kangy Angy sheila.
And now they have a house and kids, each year they celebrate
the day they got engaged on that Kangy-Woppa date.

A bit like one of those Asian dishes, sour and salty ...and sweet. I must admit I've never heard of a crumbed piece of meat called a " schnitty " , had to look at that twice

Yep, this is fun Allan - brought back memories of Budgewoi too, where I used to go many times for weekends away, and even sometimes have 'schnitty' (at least I think I did, if that's schnitzel you're talking about?!)
